Apiary and Pollination Garden

The pollination garden has been transformed by the flowering of all the wildflowers which were sown earlier in the year.

The photos of the pollination garden were taken in the middle of July and the garden is a colourful carpet of wildflowers. A large area of Phacelia is proving very attractive to both honey bees and bumblebees. Phacelia is used as a green manure and seeds can be bought very cheaply.
